In November this year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work The Bull by Kyffin Williams. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,864.00 (€ 5,636.32), 62% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kyffin Williams achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bryn Y'R Hên Bobl in November 2005 with an auction result of GBP 57,600.00 (€ 84,621.68).

Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Bull von Kyffin Williams zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.864,00 (€ 5.636,32) und damit 62% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kyffin Williams erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bryn Y'R Hên Bobl im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 57.600,00 (€ 84.621,68).
