In November this year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Nude with Margaretha Trip 122 x 91.5 cm (48 x 36 in.) by Kyffin Williams. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 15,360.00 (€ 17,798.90), 28% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Kyffin Williams have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bryn Y'R Hên Bobl in November 2005 with an auction result of GBP 57,600.00 (€ 84,621.68).

Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nude with Margaretha Trip 122 x 91.5 cm (48 x 36 in.) von Kyffin Williams zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 15.360,00 (€ 17.798,90) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kyffin Williams auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bryn Y'R Hên Bobl im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 57.600,00 (€ 84.621,68).
