Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait Of A Man by Kyffin Williams was auctioned at Bonhams in March this year. The price achieved of GBP 1,785.00 (€ 2,030.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kyffin Williams achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bryn Y'R Hên Bobl in November 2005 with an auction result of GBP 57,600.00 (€ 84,621.68).

Die Arbeit Portrait Of A Man von Kyffin Williams kam im März diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.785,00 (€ 2.030,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kyffin Williams erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bryn Y'R Hên Bobl im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 57.600,00 (€ 84.621,68).
