This artwork by Frank Brangwyn achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in March 2021. In the British and European Art auction, the work The Bridge of Sighs, Venice sold for GBP 10,837.50 (€ 12,731.27) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frank Brangwyn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fowey Harbour, Cornwall in November 2002 with an auction result of GBP 182,650.00 (€ 286,020.48).

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frank Brangwyn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fowey Harbour, Cornwall im November 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 182.650,00 (€ 286.020,48).
