In July 2016 Christies in London held the auction Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art, Maritime Art, Sporting & Wildlife Art, which included the work Grazing sheep, summer by Alfred East. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,564.65), 20% above the upper estimate.
