The work Haru-no-Yuki (Snow in Spring) by Alfred East was sold in the British and European Art auction at Christies in London in July 2021. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,124.73), 72% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Alfred East; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Amberley Bridge sold at auction in December 2007 with the realized price of GBP 18,500.00 (€ 25,138.36).

Die Arbeit Haru-no-Yuki (Snow in Spring) von Alfred East wurde im Juli 2021 in der Auktion British and European Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 16.124,73) und damit 72% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Alfred East; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Amberley Bridge im Dezember 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 18.500,00 (€ 25.138,36).
