Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Albert Edward Richardson could be acquired at Christies in London in October 2006 for an unexpectedly low price. In the British and Continental Watercolours auction, the work Rheims Cathedral changed hands for GBP 120.00 (€ 179.29) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Edward Richardson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Fantasy of Kubla Khan's Palace in September 2013 with an auction result of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,965.09).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Albert Edward Richardson konnte im Oktober 2006 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion British and Continental Watercolours wechselte die Arbeit Rheims Cathedral für GBP 120,00 (€ 179,29) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 200,00 – 300,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Albert Edward Richardson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Fantasy of Kubla Khan's Palace im September 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.965,09).
