In the The Collection of Professor Sir Albert Richardson, P.R.A. auction, the work The State Bedroom, Ampthill sold for GBP 1,062.50 (€ 1,270.05) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 600.00. Admittedly, works by Albert Edward Richardson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Fantasy of Kubla Khan's Palace in September 2013 with an auction result of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,965.09).
