Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2013 Christies in London held the auction The Collection of Professor Sir Albert Richardson, P.R.A., which included the work The Chinese Dairy, Woburn by Albert Edward Richardson. The price achieved of GBP 687.50 (€ 821.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Edward Richardson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Fantasy of Kubla Khan's Palace in September 2013 with an auction result of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,965.09).

Im September 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Collection of Professor Sir Albert Richardson, P.R.A. durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Chinese Dairy, Woburn von Albert Edward Richardson zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 687,50 (€ 821,80) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Albert Edward Richardson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Fantasy of Kubla Khan's Palace im September 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.965,09).
