Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans titre by Simon Hantaï was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in January 2024. The price achieved of EUR 5,120.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Simon Hantaï achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work M.A.4 (Mariale) in December 2016 with an auction result of EUR 4,432,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans titre von Simon Hantaï kam im Januar 2024 bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.120,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Simon Hantaï erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit M.A.4 (Mariale) im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.432.500,00.
