Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Étude by Simon Hantaï was sold in the 20th/21st Century: Paris Evening Sale auction at Christies in Paris in June last year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 350,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 352,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Simon Hantaï achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work M.A.4 (Mariale) in December 2016 with an auction result of EUR 4,432,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Étude von Simon Hantaï wurde im Juni letzten Jahres in der Auktion 20th/21st Century: Paris Evening Sale bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 350.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 352.800,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Simon Hantaï erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit M.A.4 (Mariale) im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.432.500,00.
