In September 2012 Christies in London held the auction Robert Kime and Piers von Westenholz: An English Taste, which included the work Provence landscape by Simon-Albert Bussy. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,979.70), 46% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Simon-Albert Bussy - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Deux perroquets, which sold at auction in March 2021 for EUR 37,800.00.

Im September 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Robert Kime and Piers von Westenholz: An English Taste durch, in der auch die Arbeit Provence landscape von Simon-Albert Bussy zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.979,70) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Simon-Albert Bussy mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Deux perroquets beobachtet, die im März 2021 für EUR 37.800,00 versteigert wurde.
