The work Petite Aigrette by Simon-Albert Bussy was sold in the 20th Century British Art auction at Christies in London in July 2012. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,737.31), 67% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Simon-Albert Bussy - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Deux perroquets, which sold at auction in March 2021 for EUR 37,800.00.

Die Arbeit Petite Aigrette von Simon-Albert Bussy wurde im Juli 2012 in der Auktion 20th Century British Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.737,31) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Simon-Albert Bussy mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Deux perroquets beobachtet, die im März 2021 für EUR 37.800,00 versteigert wurde.
