The price achieved of GBP 370,000.00 (€ 414,851.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Habet! In The Coliseum A.D.Xc is the most expensive artwork by Simeon Solomon that we have observed at auctions so far.
