This artwork by Sid Grossman achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in October 2019. In the Photographs auction, the work Mr. Parr and his boys, c. 1940 sold for USD 10,625.00 (€ 9,524.88) - well above the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00. This high result makes Mr. Parr and his boys, c. 1940 the most expensive artwork by Sid Grossman that we have observed at auctions so far.
