Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work The Sharing of Nameless by Shusaku Arakawa for USD 701.25 (€ 619.59). This price was achieved in the auction Deck the WallsPrints & Multiples at Bonhams in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shusaku Arakawa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vertical Thought in October 2017 with an auction result of GBP 137,500.00 (€ 156,776.91).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Sharing of Nameless von Shusaku Arakawa für USD 701,25 (€ 619,59) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Deck the WallsPrints & Multiples bei Bonhams in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shusaku Arakawa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vertical Thought im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 137.500,00 (€ 156.776,91).
