The group comprising:
- The actors Nakamura Matsue III, Ichikawa Ebijuro I and Ichikawa Danzo V in the roles of Otaka, Mokuemon and Yashichi, signed Shokosai Hokushu, published by Tenmaya Kihei (Kinkado) in 1824
- The actor Nakamura Utaemon III in the role of Mino no Shokuro, surimono, embellished with metallic pigments, signed Shunkosai Hokushu, privately issued 1823
The first: each sheet approx. 39.4 x 26.2 cm.

Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Two woodblock prints by Shunkosai Hokushu was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,512.00 (€ 1,759.25). Other works by Shunkosai Hokushu have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 1,890.00 (€ 2,199.06) in May 2021 for the work Actors viewing cherry blossoms.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Two woodblock prints von Shunkosai Hokushu kam im Mai 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.512,00 (€ 1.759,25) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Shunkosai Hokushu haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.890,00 (€ 2.199,06) im Mai 2021 für die Arbeit Actors viewing cherry blossoms beobachtet.
