Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March last year Bonhams in New York held the auction Japanese and Korean Art, which included the work Edo period (1615-1868), early 19th century by Shunkosai Hokushu. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,530.00 (€ 1,379.25). Other works by Shunkosai Hokushu have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 1,890.00 (€ 2,199.06) in May 2021 for the work Actors viewing cherry blossoms.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Japanese and Korean Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Edo period (1615-1868), early 19th century von Shunkosai Hokushu zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.530,00 (€ 1.379,25) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Shunkosai Hokushu haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.890,00 (€ 2.199,06) im Mai 2021 für die Arbeit Actors viewing cherry blossoms beobachtet.
