Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2008 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Sale (Day Sale), which included the work Human's Own Evo2 by Showichi Kaneda. The price achieved of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 9,267.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Showichi Kaneda achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Humans Own EVO5-01 in November 2009 with an auction result of HKD 1,220,000.00 (€ 104,961.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2008 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Sale (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Human's Own Evo2 von Showichi Kaneda zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 9.267,91) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Showichi Kaneda erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Humans Own EVO5-01 im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.220.000,00 (€ 104.961,98).
