This artwork by Showichi Kaneda achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2009. In the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction, the work Human's Own Evo 2 SPVA sold for HKD 175,000.00 (€ 15,056.02) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 90,000.00. Admittedly, works by Showichi Kaneda have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Humans Own EVO5-01 in November 2009 with an auction result of HKD 1,220,000.00 (€ 104,961.98).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 94 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Showichi Kaneda erzielte im November 2009 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) wurde die Arbeit Human's Own Evo 2 SPVA für HKD 175.000,00 (€ 15.056,02) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 90.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Showichi Kaneda auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Humans Own EVO5-01 im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.220.000,00 (€ 104.961,98).
