In December 2020 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art Morning Session, which included this untitled work by Shiy De-Jinn. The auction ended at the price of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 26,369.58), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shiy De-Jinn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Young Girl in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 5,480,000.00 (€ 644,882.32).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Dezember 2020 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Morning Session durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Shiy De-Jinn zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 26.369,58) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shiy De-Jinn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Young Girl im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.480.000,00 (€ 644.882,32).
