Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two Ducks (Painted Approximately In The Late 1970S To Early 1980S) by Shiy De-Jinn was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2021. The price achieved of HKD 59,000.00 (€ 6,316.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shiy De-Jinn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Young Girl in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 5,480,000.00 (€ 644,882.32).

Die Arbeit Two Ducks (Painted Approximately In The Late 1970S To Early 1980S) von Shiy De-Jinn kam im April 2021 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 59.000,00 (€ 6.316,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shiy De-Jinn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Young Girl im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.480.000,00 (€ 644.882,32).
