Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Raku by Morita Shiryū was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2018. The price achieved of USD 15,000.00 (€ 12,853.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Morita Shiryū achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work So - Wilderness in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 2,740,000.00 (€ 301,569.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Raku von Morita Shiryū kam im Mai 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 12.853,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Morita Shiryū erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit So - Wilderness im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.740.000,00 (€ 301.569,37).
