The work Unknown by Shiro Kasamatsu was sold in the Chinese & Japanese Art auction at Christies in London in May 2008. It achieved a price of GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,749.06), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shiro Kasamatsu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Snow At The Stone Garden (Yuki No Ishiniwa), which sold at auction in November 2019 for GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,577.66).

Die Arbeit Unknown von Shiro Kasamatsu wurde im Mai 2008 in der Auktion Chinese & Japanese Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.749,06) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Für andere Arbeiten von Shiro Kasamatsu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Snow At The Stone Garden (Yuki No Ishiniwa) beobachtet, die im November 2019 für GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.577,66) versteigert wurde.
