Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2019 Christies in New York held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Afternoon Session, which included the work Untitled (J-Q off suit) by Shio Kusaka. The price achieved of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,537.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shio Kusaka achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work (Line 65) in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 100,000.00 (€ 89,694.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2019 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Afternoon Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (J-Q off suit) von Shio Kusaka zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.537,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shio Kusaka erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit (Line 65) im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 100.000,00 (€ 89.694,14).
