Auction result well in line with expectations
The work F+S=X and R U Y by Shinkichi Tajiri was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2011. The price achieved of EUR 1,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shinkichi Tajiri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Guerrier - Warrior in October 2012 with an auction result of EUR 58,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit F+S=X and R U Y von Shinkichi Tajiri kam im September 2011 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shinkichi Tajiri erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Guerrier - Warrior im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 58.600,00.
