Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2012 Christies in London held the auction South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Shiavax Chavda. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,631.26). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shiavax Chavda achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Primal Power in March 2006 with an auction result of USD 48,000.00 (€ 39,541.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Shiavax Chavda zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.125,00 (€ 2.631,26) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shiavax Chavda erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Primal Power im März 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 48.000,00 (€ 39.541,97).
