Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Shiavax Chavda could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in March 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art auction, the work Untitled (Set Of Three Dancers) changed hands for USD 3,500.00 (€ 2,840.91) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shiavax Chavda achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Primal Power in March 2006 with an auction result of USD 48,000.00 (€ 39,541.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Shiavax Chavda konnte im März 2018 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art wechselte die Arbeit Untitled (Set Of Three Dancers) für USD 3.500,00 (€ 2.840,91) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shiavax Chavda erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Primal Power im März 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 48.000,00 (€ 39.541,97).
