Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of USD 9,375.00 (€ 6,593.29), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Admittedly, works by Shiavax Chavda have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Primal Power in March 2006 with an auction result of USD 48,000.00 (€ 39,541.97).

Die Arbeit She Stoops to Conquer von Shiavax Chavda kam im September 2007 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 6.593,29) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shiavax Chavda auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Primal Power im März 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 48.000,00 (€ 39.541,97).
