Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work She Stoops to Conquer by Shiavax Chavda was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2007. It achieved a price of USD 9,375.00 (€ 6,593.29), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Admittedly, works by Shiavax Chavda have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Primal Power in March 2006 with an auction result of USD 48,000.00 (€ 39,541.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit She Stoops to Conquer von Shiavax Chavda kam im September 2007 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 6.593,29) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shiavax Chavda auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Primal Power im März 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 48.000,00 (€ 39.541,97).
