Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2004 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY, which included the work Landscape by Sheng Maoye. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 131,450.00 (€ 13,241.94). Admittedly, works by Sheng Maoye have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Saying Farewell In The Moonlight in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 75,000.00 (€ 66,737.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2004 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Sheng Maoye zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 131.450,00 (€ 13.241,94) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sheng Maoye auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Saying Farewell In The Moonlight im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 66.737,85).
