Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Visiting Friend In Winter by Sheng Maoye was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2015. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 500,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 525,000.00 (€ 64,121.38). Other works by Sheng Maoye have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 75,000.00 (€ 66,737.85) in September 2016 for the work Saying Farewell In The Moonlight.
