The work Landscapes by Sheng Maoye was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. The auction ended at the price of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,558.15), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sheng Maoye have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Saying Farewell In The Moonlight in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 75,000.00 (€ 66,737.85).

Die Arbeit Landscapes von Sheng Maoye kam im Mai 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.558,15) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 100.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sheng Maoye auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Saying Farewell In The Moonlight im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 66.737,85).
