Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Delivering Wine to Tao Qian by Shen Xinhai. The price achieved of HKD 30,000.00 (€ 3,479.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Shen Xinhai have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Figures in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 177,000.00 (€ 19,480.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2019 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Delivering Wine to Tao Qian von Shen Xinhai zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 30.000,00 (€ 3.479,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shen Xinhai auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Figures im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 177.000,00 (€ 19.480,94).
