Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Amusement In The Courtyard by Shen Xinhai was sold in the Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy from the Yong Li Studio auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,449.87) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shen Xinhai - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Figures, which sold at auction in October 2017 for HKD 177,000.00 (€ 19,480.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Amusement In The Courtyard von Shen Xinhai wurde im April 2016 in der Auktion Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy from the Yong Li Studio bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.449,87) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Shen Xinhai mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Figures beobachtet, die im Oktober 2017 für HKD 177.000,00 (€ 19.480,94) versteigert wurde.
