Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Shen Quan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Running Script Calligraphy sold for HKD 250,000.00 (€ 27,313.62) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 90,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shen Quan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Auspicious Deer in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 3,658,000.00 (€ 376,601.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Shen Quan erzielte im Mai 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Running Script Calligraphy für HKD 250.000,00 (€ 27.313,62) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 90.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shen Quan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Auspicious Deer im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.658.000,00 (€ 376.601,76).
