The work Pheasants under Blossoming Branch by Shen Quan was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. It achieved a price of HKD 1,000,000.00 (€ 109,254.50), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shen Quan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Auspicious Deer, which sold at auction in October 2014 for HKD 3,658,000.00 (€ 376,601.76).

Die Arbeit Pheasants under Blossoming Branch von Shen Quan kam im Mai 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 1.000.000,00 (€ 109.254,50) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Für andere Arbeiten von Shen Quan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Auspicious Deer beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für HKD 3.658.000,00 (€ 376.601,76) versteigert wurde.
