Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pear Blossoms and Swallows by Shen Quan was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. The price achieved of HKD 175,000.00 (€ 18,841.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shen Quan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Auspicious Deer in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 3,658,000.00 (€ 376,601.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pear Blossoms and Swallows von Shen Quan kam im November 2017 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 175.000,00 (€ 18.841,40) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shen Quan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Auspicious Deer im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.658.000,00 (€ 376.601,76).
