Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Deer and Peaches by Shen Quan was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2016. The price achieved of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 60,928.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Admittedly, works by Shen Quan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Auspicious Deer in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 3,658,000.00 (€ 376,601.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Deer and Peaches von Shen Quan wurde im November 2016 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 60.928,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shen Quan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Auspicious Deer im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.658.000,00 (€ 376.601,76).
