Auction result well in line with expectations
The work DRAGON’S LINEAGE by Shen Hanwu was sold in the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2017. The price achieved of HKD 312,500.00 (€ 35,683.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 400,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shen Hanwu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Descendants Of The Dragon, which sold at auction in April 2014 for HKD 1,480,000.00 (€ 137,649.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit DRAGON’S LINEAGE von Shen Hanwu wurde im Mai 2017 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 312.500,00 (€ 35.683,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Shen Hanwu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Descendants Of The Dragon beobachtet, die im April 2014 für HKD 1.480.000,00 (€ 137.649,60) versteigert wurde.
