The work Fishing Port by Shen Hanwu was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Afternoon Session) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2019. It achieved a price of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 45,779.89), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shen Hanwu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Descendants Of The Dragon, which sold at auction in April 2014 for HKD 1,480,000.00 (€ 137,649.60).

Die Arbeit Fishing Port von Shen Hanwu wurde im Mai 2019 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Afternoon Session) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 45.779,89) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Für andere Arbeiten von Shen Hanwu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Descendants Of The Dragon beobachtet, die im April 2014 für HKD 1.480.000,00 (€ 137.649,60) versteigert wurde.
