A top price for Shen Hanwu
When the work Descendants Of The Dragon by Shen Hanwu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2014, the result exceeded expectations many times over. The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - HKD 350,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than four times as high at HKD 1,480,000.00 (€ 137,649.60). This high result makes Descendants Of The Dragon the most expensive artwork by Shen Hanwu that we have observed at auctions so far.

Als die Arbeit Descendants Of The Dragon von Shen Hanwu im April 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert wurde, übertraf das Ergebnis die Erwartungen um ein Vielfaches.
