In October 2017 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I, which included the work Sunshine After The Snow by Shen Daohong. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 53,100.00 (€ 5,844.28). Admittedly, works by Shen Daohong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Seven Sages Of The Bamboo Grove in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 413,000.00 (€ 45,455.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2017 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sunshine After The Snow von Shen Daohong zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 53.100,00 (€ 5.844,28) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shen Daohong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Seven Sages Of The Bamboo Grove im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 413.000,00 (€ 45.455,53).
