Auction result misses estimated price range
In July this year a collector was able to acquire the work The Procession by Shane Campbell for USD 140.80 (€ 127.77). This price was achieved in the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Online at Bonhams and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,200.00 – 1,800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shane Campbell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Whisper in February this year with an auction result of USD 1,912.50 (€ 1,803.90).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Procession von Shane Campbell für USD 140,80 (€ 127,77) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online bei Bonhams erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.200,00 – 1.800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shane Campbell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Whisper im Februar diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.912,50 (€ 1.803,90).
