It achieved a price of USD 11,250.00 (€ 8,543.44), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 61%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shadi Ghadirian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Like Everyday, which sold at auction in April 2010 for USD 37,500.00 (€ 28,191.25).

Die Arbeit Be Colourful von Shadi Ghadirian wurde im April 2013 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Arab,Iranian and Turkish Art Part II bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 11.250,00 (€ 8.543,44) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 61%. Für andere Arbeiten von Shadi Ghadirian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Like Everyday beobachtet, die im April 2010 für USD 37.500,00 (€ 28.191,25) versteigert wurde.
