Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled From The Like Everyday Series by Shadi Ghadirian was sold in the Middle Eastern Art Online Sale including works from the Saatchi Collection auction at Bonhams in London in August 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,187.50 (€ 3,713.44) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Shadi Ghadirian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Like Everyday in April 2010 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 28,191.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled From The Like Everyday Series von Shadi Ghadirian wurde im August 2021 in der Auktion Middle Eastern Art Online Sale including works from the Saatchi Collection bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.187,50 (€ 3.713,44) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shadi Ghadirian auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Like Everyday im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 28.191,25).
