Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Seydou Keïta achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in April last year. In the Collection Loïc Malle: Only Time Will Tell auction, the work Portrait de femmes avec radio sold for EUR 8,820.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Seydou Keïta have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans titre (L'Odalisque) - 1956-1957 in December 2018 with an auction result of EUR 63,700.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Seydou Keïta erzielte im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Collection Loïc Malle: Only Time Will Tell wurde die Arbeit Portrait de femmes avec radio für EUR 8.820,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Seydou Keïta auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans titre (L'Odalisque) - 1956-1957 im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 63.700,00.
