Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Still Life With Fruit And Champagne by Severin Roesen for USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,490.31). This price was achieved in the auction American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Severin Roesen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Fruit In A Landscape in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 769,000.00 (€ 494,215.94).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Still Life With Fruit And Champagne von Severin Roesen für USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.490,31) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Severin Roesen erzielen.
