Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Severin Roesen could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in October 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the American Art auction, the work Still Life With Fruit And A Glass Of Champagne changed hands for USD 47,500.00 (€ 40,779.53) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Severin Roesen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Fruit In A Landscape in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 769,000.00 (€ 494,215.94).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Severin Roesen konnte im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion American Art wechselte die Arbeit Still Life With Fruit And A Glass Of Champagne für USD 47.500,00 (€ 40.779,53) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Severin Roesen erzielen.
