Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work American still Life With Grapes And Wine by Severin Roesen for GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,811.65). This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century European Paintings at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 25,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Severin Roesen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Fruit In A Landscape in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 769,000.00 (€ 494,215.94).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit American still Life With Grapes And Wine von Severin Roesen für GBP 11.250,00 (€ 12.811,65) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Severin Roesen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life With Fruit In A Landscape im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 769.000,00 (€ 494.215,94).
