Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sea Storm, Stage Design for Sadko by Sergei Sudeikin was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 37,800.00 (€ 44,380.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sergei Sudeikin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Two Panels for the Cabaret Prival Komediantov in Petrograd in June 2021 with an auction result of GBP 680,500.00 (€ 792,959.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sea Storm, Stage Design for Sadko von Sergei Sudeikin kam im November 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 37.800,00 (€ 44.380,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sergei Sudeikin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Two Panels for the Cabaret Prival Komediantov in Petrograd im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 680.500,00 (€ 792.959,40).
